Volleyball Success
Five of our boys volleyballers have tasted sweet success at the Inter-provincial championships (IPC).
Congratulations to Liam Smith, Jaxon Stone, Eui In Shin, Parker McKenzie and Jerry Shi who were part of the Waikato U17 boys team who won the national IPC title over Kings Birthday weekend.
Liam was also named tournament MVP and is joined by Eui In and Jaxon in being named in the tournament team.
Liam’s older sister, and former Hillcrest student, Amy Smith was also named in the U23 womens tournament team after her Manawatu team placed third in their competition. Its great to see our alumni doing well in their chosen pathways once they leave school!
