Hillcrest Students Compete in Hamilton Competitions

We had 6 singers from Hillcrest perform in the Hamilton Vocal Competitions in the holidays with great success.

It was a very big field of almost 100 singers of all ages and up to 24 in some of the age groups. Evie Wilkinson placed in all categories she entered with three 1st and two 2nd places. Josh Hogarty gained 3rd places in both Musical Theatre and Own Selection. Jenna Stephenson won a 3rd place for her Contemporary song, and also a Commended in Musical Theatre. Amira Stephenson won a Commended in Contemporary Song. Diana Han gained Very Highly Commended in Musical Theatre. Leyla Scutts won a 1st in the Duet section with Sarah Doherty.
