North Island Secondary Road Champs
Josh Cavanagh (Year 12) gained two medals at the recent road champs event.
On day one Josh took part in the U20 54km road race where he raced out to an early lead and kept it until a sprint finish at the end where he was pipped at the line, ending with the silver medal. This was Josh's first ever road race, so a grand achievement!
The next day was the criterium which was 9 laps of a 1.6km circuit. In this event Josh managed to gain a bronze medal.
Not a bad haul over two days of cycling, well done Josh!
