As you will be aware, international research indicates some key challenges with having cellphones at school such as being a major distraction for our students.

As we gear up for the commencement of a brand-new academic year, it is my pleasure to extend a warm welcome to each and every member of our Hillcrest High School Te Kura Tuarua o Tihipuke community—students/ ākonga, caregivers/whānau and staff/kaiako.

With the start of the school year approaching it is timely to remind students of our expectations around school uniform. Last year we listened to students who wanted to see some changes to allow more ways for them to express their individuality.
