Samantha Dryden won the senior student visual art section at the annual speaking for the planet competition.

Each year Sustainable Christchurch runs some competitions for young people who are passionate about our planet.

Sam won the senior speech in 2020 but couldn't attend this year as she was attending the Model European Union elsewhere.

She is the esteemed leader of the Horomaka Environment Committee.
