At the end of Term 1, David Thorpe (aka Davey Backyard) came to entertain Upland students with an interactive Skiffle session.

The class made it's own instruments, (harmonicas) then jammed together with a variety of home made musical instruments including a lagerphone, bucket bass, coconut shells and bottle top shakers.  Hinepare, who is profoundly deaf, enjoyed the music through vibration.
