STAR and Gateway opportunities exist to provide Senior ākonga at HHS with opportunities to explore career pathways.

There are many tertiary providers and workplaces who partner with HHS to provide real-life training and/or work placements. Mrs Partel organises STAR courses which range from Makeup Special Effects, Animation to Barista or Security. Mrs Stanley has placed seniors at Countdown, Airport Firefighting, Theatre Court and Spreydon School, to name a few workplaces.
