Congratulations to Matt Cleverly for his success at the South Island Swimming Champs
The South Island Swimming Champs were held over 3 days in Blenheim, 22nd to 24th July. Matt swam some big races and pulled off some big personal bests in all his events. Stand out races were:
1st in his age group 1500m freestyle, knocking 36 seconds off his time
2nd in the 400m freestyle
3rd place finish in the 800m freestyle
Added to this he finished 4th in the 400 Individual Medley and qualified for NZ Division II next May.
