Year 8 student, Alyssa Buchan will soon be on her way to Wellington to compete as part of the Te Rōpū Oma o Waitaha (the runners from Canterbury) team at the IRXC2020 (Inter-Regional Cross Country)

With the delays in completion of Centrals due to COVID-19, selection this year has been a somewhat different process and Alyssa is excited to have been invited to take part again in this event.  After a disappointing race last year, missing out on selection, Alyssa is excited to again be travelling with the team, where she has made many lasting friendships from previous events.
