In June, a team of five Year 9 students took part in the Canterbury Regional Competition of Reader's Cup.

They were Luke McIntosh, Micah Langford, Jabez Afualo, Arleana Zynah Woo and Peter Bataq.

Although they did not place in the top 3 (CGHS, Christ's College and Cashmere), they each read 5-6 books, and enjoyed themselves.
