People who like coding and gaming give this STAR course a go!

After four days, the ākonga on the Game Design STAR course were let loose to write their own games. They were given the freedom to design whatever games they chose after they had learned coding skills on the first few days. Attached are some screenshots of two of the games from participants. All three ākonga enjoyed the course and would be happy to do another. The best parts of the course were learning Unity - the multiplayer, Gadot and understanding how some game engines work. Most participants wrote 2-5 games and saved them to a cloud-based gaming platform. They recommend that people who like coding and gaming give this STAR course a go next year.
