Exciting site developments in progress at Hillmorton!

Netball/Tennis/Basketball Courts

Progress is being made on the new Netball/Tennis and half court Basketball courts on the boundary of Hillmorton High and Spreydon School

They are on track for completion before Christmas which is exciting for the Physical Education and Sports departments plus the local community heading into the new year. 

Indoor Sports Centre

Tigers Sport Committee have been working closely with the Ministry of Education and their architect in finalising the design for the indoor sports centre which will include two full size Basketball courts, four changing rooms, 2 classrooms, physio/first aid, fitness/weights room and office space. The school is looking forward to releasing the finished design and timelines for the build at some stage during Term Four.

Outdoor Amphitheatre

In the open space where A Block was demolished the landscaping works are progressing well. The new outdoors amphitheatre currently under construction will also be ready for the start of the 2022 school year. This facility will add even more opportunity for outdoor arts and cultural activities at the school.
