Ara 2021 Year 11 Chemistry Competition

On 30 September 2021, six Year 11 students took part in the Ara Annual Year 11 Chemistry Competition that tests students' chemistry skills against students from other schools.

Liam Wilson, Taine Parfitt, Lochie Ellison, Ngan Dang, Emily Rushton and Bethan Edwards represented Horomaka at the competition in two teams - boys versus girls. The competition challenged students to identify chemical compounds and explore other related topics to test their skills.  Both teams thoroughly enjoyed the activities and made the school proud.

Second Equal - Liam Wilson, Taine Parfitt and Lochie Ellison

Second Equal - St Margaret's College

Fifth Place - St Margaret's College
