Luke Street competed at the World Irish Dancing Championships in Montreal, Canada in April.

There were 18 dancers from New Zealand competing at this World Championships. Luke was the only New Zealander (and only competitor from the Southern Hemisphere) in the U15 boys age group. He danced well in both the hornpipe and the reel, but unfortunately did not make the recall to the final set dance round. Luke finished a respectable 42nd overall.
