With the start of the school year, it has been lovely to welcome 59 international students (20 returning students and 39 new ones) to Hillmorton.

Coming from around the world - Argentina, Austria, Cambodia, Finland, Germany, Hong Kong, Japan, Korea, Myanmar, Thailand and Viet Nam - the students contribute to school life in a range of ways, including our diversity, while enabling our domestic students to experience global citizenship first-hand from their everyday classroom environment.

The new students had a few days of orientation before the school year commenced, learning about life at Hillmorton, and in Christchurch and New Zealand, including a day of team building activities at Living Springs, while our returning students were back into classes, picking up where they left off last year.
