Ben has performed in a number of shows this year.

Playing "Bert" in his school production of "Mary Poppins" in 2020 gave Ben the acting bug!
Next came "Nigel" in the amazing Showbiz musical of "Matilda" and 2023 has brought about three new and exciting opportunities.

In April Ben had to work with a puppet - playing the role of "Sven" in Frozen JR at The Court Theatre.
From comedy to a young man in a Romeo and Juliet style romance in "Once on this Island", Ben was cast as Daniel - torn between his mistress and the woman he was obliged to marry.

It was back to a comedic sidekick in "Beauty within the Beast" these last school holidays. The talented Mia Sharr was also a part of this one - along with other faces from Hillmorton in the crew. Ben had a top knot and was covered in lipstick and jewellery for one scene!

Now Ben is getting ready for his favourite time of the year - the festive season and preparing for Christmas showcases and concerts to keep the "post show blues" from setting in! Long rehearsals have nurtured some amazing friendships - and it is this that Ben loves the most about his time working on a show.
