Pasifika Dance Class @ Rowley Resource Centre

Hillmorton —

These free classes are for any students (Years 1 - 13) to learn more about the dances, customs and ceremonies of the Pacific. You do not have to be a Pacific Islander to be a part of it, it is open to all students and if they are a little younger or a little older, that's ok to still join in.

Children will learn to work together and appreciate cultural dance forms of the Pacific such as Siva Sāmoa and Tau'olunga.

Every Monday during school term (3 May - 5 July, 2021)

3.30 pm to 4.30 pm

Rowley Resource Centre, 89 Rowley Ave, Hoon Hay

TUTOR: Lead Tutor Taloa Sagapolutele, comes with huge experience, with a heavy involvement within the Pasifika community. Taloa has taught all Pasifika dance forms for over 25 years through her previous role as a Sāmoan Bilingual Teacher and various roles in the community.
