"Café Service is all about customer service! "

In the April holidays, Dishti went to NZMA for a five day course on café preparation.

She had to provide café counter service where she learned to serve customers, make and serve coffee, correctly store items after use and clean the counter area. Dishti enjoyed meeting the others taking the course and learning to make different types of coffee and hot chocolate. It was a small group so they had to work closely together to gain 2 credits at Level Two and 5 credits at Level Three. Learning how to use the equipment was great and the tutors were very helpful.
