A Hillmorton high school student was named in the korfball Canterbury tournament team.

Daniel Herewini was named as one of 12 members of the tournament team.  The tournament team was chosen by the referees and development officers of Korfball Canterbury.  With more than 300 students participating in the tournament this is a huge achievement by Daniel who was chosen for his ability, leadership and sportsmanship. He was a member of the Hillmorton Red team who managed 5th place in the tournament of 30 teams.

His Friends and classmates were very excited and proud of Daniel's achievement when it was announced after the final game.  Well done Daniel!
