Y12 History took a road trip around Banks Peninsula to learn our local stories

Students spent a night in stargazer huts at Onawe Bush Farm Hostel which was surrounded by dozens of Kereru.  Some key spots that they visited were Little Akaloa's beautiful St Luke's Church, Onuku Marae, Onawe Peninsula, Takapuneke, Akaroa Museum and the Britomart Memorial.

What a curious and inquisitive bunch of Historians.
