Hillmorton High School's 2025 school year is from Wednesday 29 January to Wednesday 10 December.The 2026 school year is from Friday 30 January to Friday 11 December.

New student international orientation begins on Monday 26 January 2026.

Full school starts on Friday 30 January from 10:00 am with a Mihi Whakatau and Whānau Group time.

The school year is split into four terms with holiday breaks in between.
