Netball success in the July School Holiday

Our Year 10 and Year 9 netball teams accomplished some awesome achievements at the Junior South Island Netball Tournament.

Our Year 10 team, which had a mix of two Year 9 girls, one Year 10 boy and seven Year 10 girls, finished 18th from 32 combined age group teams.

Our Year 9 team finished 22nd from 32 in the same combined section. This team, which had ten Year 9 girls, competed with some strong teams who were all Year 10 girls and boys.

Both our Year 10 and Year 9 teams knew this tournament wasn’t going to be easy, but they all learned to take each game as it came and challenged themselves. They didn’t give up, played every game in good spirits and represented themselves, our school and their families with pride. A huge thank you to all our coaches, managers, umpires, staff and supporters.
