Ko Taku Reo Deaf Education New Zealand, Hillmorton High Provision
Immersion students visit the Hillmorton High Provision
On Wednesday 25 November, Deaf and Hard of Hearing students from all around the country visited Christchurch to participate in a Ko Taku Reo immersion course. They attended the Hillmorton High Provision to take part in the Deaf Deaf World activities organised by Nirvana, one of our provision teachers. A great time was had by all, making new friends and catching up with old ones. Students participated in games with voices off and using only NZSL. Our 'police officer' Steen would put them in 'jail' if he heard students or staff speaking!
