Regional meeting of the VEX Robotics competition at St Andrew's College

June saw our team of four VEX Roboteers travel to St Andrew's College on two weekends to start this year's entry into the Global VEX V5 Challenge.  Over the next eight months students will be planning, building and competing against other teams from around Canterbury to complete a complex robotics challenge. The team will build two robots that need to sense large balls, pick them up and deposit them in a tower with a short time limit. The more balls collected the more points. This competition demonstrates all our schools values and builds student knowledge and experience in the field of robotics.
