Every year Horomaka gets about 45 native trees from Paper4Trees.

Thank you to all the students and staff who participated in the World Vision 40 Hour Famine this year.

The Community Dental Service will be providing dental care for children enrolled with their service during the upcoming school holidays. The clinics will offer treatment and relief of pain sessions by appointment only. Appointments are available between the hours of 8.00 am and 4.30 pm, Monday to Friday throughout the holidays.

In this newsletter the University of Otago have a variety of awesome activities to keep you busy during the school holidays! From the NZ International Science Festival 2020 - Nano Edition, to their tours with Port to Port Cruises, there is something for everyone.

Hillmorton High School Year 12 students learnt to Save a Life, CPR and Essential First Aid on the 25 & 26 June through STAR funding.

Twenty-three students from Years 7 to 10 competed in this year's competition, with a very high standard of public speaking across the board.

Hillmorton High School is selling the Entertainment Book App as a fundraiser for 2 school trips. Horomaka is going to Timaru for a football tournament and to support the Classics Trip to Europe.

Our Classical Studies group and Football team are fundraising at the moment and we would appreciate your support.

With a lot of winter illness around it is essential to inform the school when your student is away.
