Introduction to Tutoring/Teaching Adults - ON HOLD

Do you have a skill or knowledge that you would like to share with others? Do you teach or train others in your workplace?

This short course will help you gain confidence when working with other adults in these situations. It covers the basics of how adults learn, how to create a good learning environment as well as course development and topic/lesson planning. It is useful for those who already have some tutoring/teaching experience and for those who have no previous experience.

About the tutor, Christine Philpott

Christine has been working in Adult Education for over 30 years, firstly as a tutor and teacher of adult students, then as an adult education programme coordinator and a trainer of tutors/trainers/teachers working in the adult education sector.  Christine believes that lifelong learning comes in many guises and is passionate about the value of providing opportunities for further education for adults in the community and the workplace.
