Fa’amalosi Tiger’s Rugby U14 played two half games on Saturday at a very picturesque and well presented Cashmere High School Top Field, under a stunning blue morning sky. Half game 1 was versus Ashley from North Canterbury, and Game 2 was against our local rivals, Cashmere.

It has been a busy year for our Senior Textiles students.

On Monday 21 September, 30 teams competed at the Term 3 Canterbury Korfball Tournament.

70 staff, family and friends attended two enjoyable dinner evenings at the Old Vicarage in Halswell recently.

On Saturday 19 September one of our music students, Murphy McMillan, competed in the finals of the Y Factor talent quest run by the YMCA at Papa Hou Theatre.

Our outgoing Student Representative on the Board of Trustees, Bukhosi Shuva, was recently selected to participate in the Student Trustee Video with NZSTA (New Zealand School Trustee Association).

Halswell Softball Club are currently seeking youth players to become part of our club. We offer grades from U7 Mixed tee ball, through to U18 males and female teams in our junior club, with our youngest currently registered player aged four years old.

Tai Tapu Gardens are hosting their major biannual fundraiser for Tai Tapu School on 8 November, tour includes seven gardens, an art exhibition and classic cars.
