Kia oraI have been at Hillmorton High School for many years and enjoy the school and its environment. I look forward to welcoming you to Hillmorton and supporting you throughout your association with us. I am passionate about my job and use my experience of language teaching and learning and living and studying overseas to guide me in my work.
I get pleasure from travelling and learning about new cultures, and in my spare time I like to walk, cycle, read, watch movies, and spend time with family and friends.

International Student Assistant (with homestay responsibilities)
My role is to find suitable host families for our international students, along with providing support to students and families. I emigrated from England in 2007 with my husband and two sons and love New Zealand. I enjoy travelling and meeting people from different countries. With Europe being so close to us back then, we spent many holidays discovering different countries; we particularly loved the Greek Islands. Nowadays, we enjoy exploring all that New Zealand has to offer. I enjoy watching movies, being out on the water and spending time with my family and friends.

Teacher-in-Charge of English Language (EL / ESOL)
I enjoy teaching and meeting students here at Hillmorton High School. During the 20 years I have been at the school, I have taught Senior and Junior English and English as a second language.
When I am not at school, I enjoy watching movies, biking, working in the garden and spending time with my family and friends. I also like traveling and learning about other countries, so it is a pleasure to have students come here and share their culture with us.
