Fa’amalosi Tiger’s Rugby U14 played CBHS on a lush, sloping paddock at South Hagley Park on Saturday morning. Despite a score of 43-17 to a very deserved CBHS team, the Fa’amalosi Tiger’s, produced some great footy and CBHS, in the end, had to work hard for their win.

EVolocity is a national secondary schools’ competition which sees teams of young men and women race their own specially designed and built electric vehicles at various locations throughout the country this coming November

This year we had eight talented students compete in the Dance NZ Made competition at the James Hay Theatre.

Hillmorton Experience Unlucky 1-0 Defeat Against Cashmere High School

Those Year 12 and 13 students who attended STAR courses during the holidays had fun and some gained NCEA credits.

It was great to get together as a group with our international students to celebrate the end of Term Two.

Level 2 PE students have taken the wero (challenge) to become qualified with the AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety.

Four teams of Year 9 and 10 students competed this week in the Canterbury EPro8 heats.

Daffodil Day symbolises hope for all New Zealanders impacted by cancer and our Middle School Council has organised a uniform free day for all students with proceeds going to the Cancer Society. Bring a gold coin and wear whatever you want... yellow and blue perhaps?

Hillmorton Tigers First XI played against Rangiora High School this week.

Tiger’s Rugby U14 have had a promising start to this year’s Canterbury Community Rugby U14 competition. We started with a pre-season game against Cashmere followed by three competition games against Rangiora, St Bede’s B and again, Cashmere.

Variety - The Children's Charity provides sponsorship for students who require financial assistance.

During term three of the 2020 school year, Police will be increasing their presence around high schools throughout Canterbury. The focus will be on negative driving behaviour of both students and other members of the public.

The Football Team and Classics Trip are using the Entertainment Book subscription for a fundraiser.
