Reading is vital to every child’s success. Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school.

It’s a wonderful selection of engaging and affordable books for every reading level. Please make plans to visit our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your kids’ reading habits.

The Book Fair will be open in the library at the following times:

Monday 12 June: 10am to 11am for Year 1 parents of H12/13/18 & 19

Tuesday 13 June: 8.00 to 3.30pm (Please visit us after the Book Parade)

Wednesday 14 June: 8.00 to 4.00pm

Thursday 15 June: 8.00 to 3.30pm

Every class will have the opportunity to browse the Book Fair and make a wish list. Students are also able to purchase books independently from Tuesday 13 June to Thursday 15 June. Eftpos will be available, and there is a credit card option on the back of your child’s wish list if you choose to complete this section.

The Book Character Parade returns……..

This will take place on Tuesday 13 June at 9.30am on the top court. Parents are welcome to attend and the Book Fair will be open for you to visit following the parade. We look forward to seeing your child dressed as their favourite book character, and we encourage homemade creations! There will be two book prizes per room for the “best dressed” character, and these will be presented at the parade.

The students will need to arrive at school in their uniforms, and change back into these at the conclusion of the parade.
