School Donation

Hobsonville School Board - January 31, 2023

We rely on the assistance of our parents from both Hobby Whanāu & Friends fundraising, and the donation or contribution request we make each year to provide a high quality education and learning environment for our students.

For a single student a $200 donation equates to $5 per week over 40 weeks in the school year.

Since 2020, due to Covid19 we were unable to fundraise the budgeted target amount, or achieve our funding through international students.

In 2023 your donation will contribute to the following projects:

  • Enhancing the school grounds e.g. tree planting, seating, shade covers, sandpit and water area.
  • Adding to the Garden to Table programme.
  • Adding to and maintaining sports equipment supplies.
  • Additional professional learning for staff, students and community.
  • Meet shortfall of activity costs - for parents who are in hardship.
  • Provide school and community events.

Donations and activity fees are paid online at www.mykindo.co.nz

1 child = $200

2 children = $380

3 children = $560

4 children = $700

If payment is made before the end of Term 1 (6 April 2023), the discounted amounts are as follows:

1 child = $190

2 children = $340

3 children = $525

4 children = $660

The discounted amounts can be paid on Kindo by changing the amount you wish to pay to the amounts as per above.

If you have already made payment of the full amount, there will now be a credit in your child’s school account, which can be used to pay for any activity fees that will arise during 2023.
