Haere Ra Term 3 ... Haere Mai Term 4...

Observing our students in the learning spaces and outside without their masks has been heartening in the last few weeks. We have observed confident more interactive children and the school feels like a happier place to be. The mask-wearing was very important, but now they are not required and we have some time without them!

Parents and teachers have noticed how independent our students have become entering the school grounds and learning spaces without parents. We understand some parents have found this difficult, and we are sorry people have felt that way. Due to the change in the Covid environment, the school grounds are open again from 8.30am for parents to come and enjoy being on the school site, as we realise it is important for parents to have some way of meeting together, especially if you are new to the community. If you are the parent of a new entrant child or new to the school you are now able to walk them to their learning space before 8.50am. 

Please encourage your child to share their learning with you in their learning spaces from 3.10pm to 3.30pm. Please do remember our teachers can meet with you to discuss your child's learning by you making an appointment time with them via email. Just a reminder to always attend the appointment invitation for your child to share their learning when they have their milestone report.

Friday Mornings - Waiata ā Kura 
We have started Waiata ā Kura on a Friday morning, and this is a lovely opportunity for parents and whanau to listen to our children sharing a karakia and singing waiatas together. Please join us all outside on the top court each fine Friday from 8.50am.

Planning is well underway for next year, so please ensure you advise the office if you are moving out of the school zone as soon as possible.
