Autumn Leaves

Nauvoo D., Ariel L., Anmika M., Maddie F. Y4 H21 —

Year 4 students in H21 have been writing about Autumn leaves.

Leaf Flying
Leaves zooming off a ship and crashing into the sea . It is like when the leaves fall off they’re on fire.

Off they’re on fire.

Leaves can be many different colours: green for grass, yellow for sun, orange for a vase, red for a ball. There are many different body parts, stem, petals. The leaf has a sound that is like crunch, crunch.

Autumn Leaves
Leaves falling off trees.
A mixture of red, orange and yellow.
Whispering secrets to each other.
Shining like a star in the sky.
The leaves flow in the wind.
It sounds like the river.
Swish, swish, swish.
As they fall off the trees saying goodbye.
Looking up as they fall off.
When you step on them it makes a crunch.
When seasons change, the leaves fall off one by one.
As the wind blows them away.

Autumn Leaves
The leaves are falling down and dancing.
A pile of purple, red, orange.
Whispering in the quiet breeze.
Leaves looking up and quietly saying bye to their friends, saying people might step on me.
Crunch, crunch, crunch - oh no people came and stepped on our friends.
I hope my friends will be on top of the tree.
When the season of autumn comes, the leaves fall on the ground.
The leaves are dancing like a ballerina.

Leaves
The beautiful golden, yellow and red leaves are dancing in a parade in the air.

The leaves are swooshing and swashing twirling like a ballerina through the wind.

The song of the leaves crunchy, crunchy ,crunchy.

The leaves are dreaming of being in the tree when they fall off and crying out drops of water.
