Technology at Wairau Intermediate

Hobsonville School —

Every Friday we will be travelling to Wairau Intermediate School in Sunnynook for Technology and Arts education.

During the year, students will complete six rotations: Metal Technology, Wood Technology, Food Technology, Visual Arts, Spanish, and Music.

Wairau Intermediate has a tuck shop and students will be able to purchase food and drink items there during their lunch break (see menu below). We recommend students bring no more than $5 and that they keep their money safe by not leaving it in their bags.

To meet the safety policies and participate in Technology classes at Wairau Intermediate, students need to wear closed-in shoes. Long hair that sits on or below the collar must be tied back and long fringes must also be clipped or held back from the eyes with a hair tie, clip, or headband.
