Home Learning

Hobsonville School Office —

Home learning is a continuation of the learning at school and will often involve completing set tasks.

Students are generally given more than one night to finish the expected work, and should not take more than one hour per night,as we recognise that many children and their families are busy with other commitments during the week.

We also expect each student to read at home on a regular basis. Our school library allows students to issue two books at a time: one can remain at school for independent reading and the other can be used for home reading. Your child also has a www.studyladder.co.nz account where they can find set tasks, or do independent work
