We are encouraging as many Hobsonville students to bring in their wheels (bike, scooter, skateboard, roller skates etc) and glam them up with any accessories to make their wheels stand out.

Examples could be: streamers, balloons, tinsel etc. Spot prizes will be awarded to most creative and fun attempts to glam their wheels.

This is an initiative sponsored by Auckland Transport, to encourage our tamariki to lead active lifestyles and also to reduce the number of vehicles on the road.

On Friday 21 March, the students with wheels will meet on the top court at the start of lunchtime from 1.10-1.30pm. The students with their own wheels glammed up can ride around on the top court. Some teachers will be the  judges to award prizes from Auckland Transport. There are some cool prizes up for grabs: Rebel Sports vouchers, Toyworld vouchers, safety reflective gear, clip-on bells, lanyards and even a pair of sunglasses.
