Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand provides free Vision and Hearing Screening.

Children eligible to be tested include:

1.      New Entrants to the school who have not had a B4 School Hearing and Vision test at Pre-school.

2.      Children who need rescreening or were absent from previous testing.

3.      Children new to the school who have not been tested in New Zealand.

NB: Children do not need to be tested if they have completed the B4 School Check

NB: Foreign fee paying students are not eligible for the screening programme.

If your child is eligible to be tested as per the criteria above, please complete the attached form and return it to the school office, if you have not already done so on enrolment.

Vision and Hearing technicians will be at our school on Tuesday 5 November and must have a completed consent form before they can carry out the testing.
