Year 7/8 Table Tennis

Crystal C., Alexia M., Brody T. —

I enjoyed playing table tennis since it's a sport I don't really play.

Even though I only won 1-3 games, I still had a great day playing with my friends.

It was a fun experience and I'd definitely do it again.

Maybe in the future the Year 7 and 8’s can win and represent Hobsonville school.

I really liked this sports experience because it was challenging - yet fun. Although we didn't win, I wasn't too beat up about it, because we still came back with memories of an exciting day. The people who won totally deserved it because they were the reason we want to improve. We played single games with kids from different schools, but also practise games against each other. Then at the end of the day we played doubles. It was really fun playing and messing around against each other in between games. I really hope next year the Year 7’s and 8’s will get our amazing Hobsonville School a win.

I was lucky as I had the easiest pool so I won each game with ease, then it was semis time and I wasn't ready for the new skill in the first set. I lost by a lot with a 2 nil defeat.

Then I was up in the 2 on 2 (doubles) tournament, Caleb M. was my partner. At first we won with ease until we went up against our other Hobby team Brendan J. and Sion P.  We suffered a devastating loss and that was me done for the tournament.
