Our Year 5 students recently embarked on a unique learning experience as part of their Concept-Based Inquiry into trade and business.

Inspired by historical and contemporary trade routes (NZ with Britain), they delved into the world of entrepreneurship.

Students designed, created, and sold a variety of products, from cake to jewelry, gaining hands-on experience in business planning, marketing, and finance. This real-world application of their learning fostered essential skills such as problem-solving, teamwork, and communication.

To further enrich their learning, a portion of the profits from the Year 5 Market Day will be donated to the local SPCA.

A combined total of $811.80 from both the Year 5 and Year 6 Market Days, will be donated to the SPCA.
