Scholastic Book Fair

This is a highlight on the school calendar and we look forward to sharing the wonderful selection of books on sale with you.

Reading is vital to every child’s success. Our Scholastic Book Fair is a reading event that brings the books kids want to read right into our school. The selection of books are engaging and affordable for every reading level. Please make plans to visit our Book Fair and be involved in shaping your kids’ reading habits.

The Book Fair will be open in the Library at the following times:

Monday 17 June: 10.00am to 11.00am - morning tea for Year 1 parents of H12/13/18 & 19

Tuesday 18 June: 8.00am to 3.30pm (please visit us after the Book Parade)

Wednesday 19 June: 8.00am to 4.00pm

Thursday 20 June: 8.00am to 4.00pm

Every class will have the opportunity to browse the Book Fair and make a wish list. Students are also able to purchase books independently from Tuesday 18 June to Thursday 20 June. Eftpos will be available and there is a credit card option on the back of your child’s wish list if you choose to complete this section.

Book Characters, Get Ready……

The whole school Book Character Parade will take place on Tuesday 18 June at 9.30am.This will be on the top court weather permitting. Parents are welcome to attend and the Book Fair will be open for you to visit following the parade. We look forward to seeing your child dressed as their favourite Book Character, and we encourage homemade creations! There will be two book prizes per room for the “best dressed” character, and these will be presented at the parade.

The students will need to arrive at school in their uniforms and change back into uniform at the conclusion of the parade.

We look forward to hosting another successful Book Fair. All purchases benefit our school Library.
