Parent Information Evening with John Parsons - Digital Citizenship

Tuesday 19 March from 6.00pm-7.30pm in the Blue Room.
This is a must for all parents. Book this date for your own professional development around Digital Citizenship, and how you can help your child/ren keep safe online.
John Parsons is a New Zealand expert in cybercrime. He will be working with the different year levels of Hobsonville students during the school day on Tuesday 19 March, followed by a staff meeting after school.
The parent/community workshop in the evening (6.00pm-7.30pm) will focus on the following:
Identify the specific challenges children face when using ICT.
Include guidance on behaviour management processes for parents in the practical situations they will face.
This workshop empowers parents to take responsibility for their children.
Parents leave with the tools to support their children in how to use ICT safely and ethically at home, and at school.
