Year 6-8 North West Swimming

Last Monday, our group of Y6-8 students competed in the North West swimming competition at West Wave pools.
Congratulations to Jeremy Z. and Luca M. for making it into the finals.
Each student demonstrated excellent skill, passion, and perseverance while racing. A big thank you to all the parents who volunteered to drive.
In the finals, Jeremy Z. placed 1st overall in 50m Freestyle, 50m Butterfly and 50m Breaststroke. Luca M. came 4th in Breastroke, 5th in Backstroke, and 6th in Freestyle.
We also wish Jeremy luck for the Auckland Champs next week, as he is competing in many events:
- 50 Free
- 50 Breast
- 50 Fly
- 100 Free
He has also been selected to compete in the NW relay team in:
- Freestyle relay
- Medley relay (Fly)
