Year 6 Market Day

Courtney Dwyer - Y6 TeacherDecember 6, 2024

Year 6 students held a fantastic Market Day on Wednesday, selling their handmade products to the Year 4s.

From recycled glass, squishy balls and Christmas decorations, there was something for everyone, and most stalls sold out! The Year 4s loved browsing the creative items, and the Year 6s showed off their great customer service and business skills. It was a fun and educational afternoon with everyone learning valuable lessons about entrepreneurship and teamwork. Overall, it was a huge success and a great way to wrap up the term!

We are Year 6 students, and for our Market Day we made sea glass bracelets. We tried to clean up the beach as much as we could and collected sea glass while we did it. We drilled holes in all the pieces of the glass and thread string through the holes. On the market day we made money to give to charity and sold out of our product! It was fun.
