An engaging poem by Ariana G. Y8, H27
Erratic: scattered, everywhere,
My blood is erratic, here and there.
Miniscule: short, under average height,
I am miniscule, but my attitude is bright.
Lass: young lady, also girl,
My parents call me their little pearl.
I am Kiwi and Italian too,
English, Irish, Greek, you?
Face like dad’s, hair like mum’s.
From dad I also get my hums.
My sister is the opposite, not that it’s bad,
Face like mum’s, hair like dad’s.
My history is large, unlike my size.
My history is large, is that a surprise?
I don’t know my history fully,
My great grandad is hard to understand. Ariana Greco,12,Y8
His English accent is very, very grand!
No one else is just like me
We are all unique.
Some of us have longer bodies,
While I have longer feet.
