Year 1 - 8 end of year celebration

On Wednesday 11 December 1230pm we had a special Christmas celebration for the Junior Year 1 - 8 students thanks to Go Media as a 'Give back to the Community' day. 

Go Media partnered with local businesses, Sports Teams and generous sponsors of the Kindness Collective who donated items for gifts and giveaways. Venues Ōtautahi generously donated the Christmas lunch for ākonga and kaimahi. Volunteers were onsite helping throughout the afternoon.

Our ākonga participated in fun activities with the Canterbury Crusaders, Canterbury RAMS and Pouakai players.

At the end of the afternoon each ākonga received an amazing lego gift from Hana Koko. A huge thanks to Go Media and our local organisation ACTIS, Rachael Fonotia for suggesting Haeata as a venue.
