Ki O Rahi

Carly Werahiko —

Last Ki O Rahi Tournament for the year - Thanks Toa Sports for running this event.

What a day at Ki O Rahi!

The day started with a mihi whakatau and brief summary of the layout for the day. We had a tough draw with some of the top teams. In the first game of the day we had a loss to Lincoln. After a break we played and won against CGHS. We then went into a double header and faced Te Whanau Tahi where we won again. This placed us second in a pool meaning we played CBHS who were the runners up in term one. The team had an outstanding game, 2-2 for the whole game we went into over time and we were on fire and scored 3 points just before the hooter putting us into the semi final round. We went onto play Linwood College in the semi final and had an outstanding game but did not walk away with a win unfortunately.

After a long day of 5 games and a shoot-off, we placed 3rd. Outstanding performances by all students
