He Rangatira
Celebrating Leadership across the school!
This term’s whole school assembly was based upon Leadership: He Rangatira. We were so lucky to be entertained by Kimora and his stunning piani pieces. E te manu tīoriori, kei te mihi.
This term we celebrated a range of leaders at our school from years 1-13. These ākonga demonstrate confidence and manaak(tū māia) and show how they can weave people together. Student leadership is an essential component of any school community, and I am thrilled about the potential it holds for creating positive change and growth at Haeata.
By working together with our ākonga students we can make a real impact on our school environment. These ākongfa motivate their peers, embodying the values of Haeata. Thank you for your hard work and dedication – you are truly making a difference in our kura and we are looking forward to our future.
