One theme in the Kōrepo Navigation Kaupapa is 'Shaping Culture'

In this theme students are researching buildings and how they shape culture. They are analysing buildings and some students are creating their own building. There is a strong math thread through this work as ākonga calculate dimensions and measurements, investigate materials needed and construction processes.
