Fresh Cuts at Haeata

This term, we have started a senior barbering course through Luke Koia, the owner of Mo Town Barbers. The main focus has been on service before self. While learning and developing their barbering skills. They have gained hands-on experience cutting other ākongas hair using various techniques and styles. Due to the popularity of this course we have also started a junior barbering course run by Haeata alumni Max Mahuika who is a barber at Benny’s Barbers. We look forward to seeing the progress these courses make next term.
