Burnham Military Camp
From the 8th of March to the 19th March the Haeata Community Campus Services Academy went on an intensive 12 day military course at Burnham Military Camp.
This camp involved team building, leaderless tasks, the longest day (they woke up at 5:30 am and finished at 7:00 pm - with nine tasks in between.) They did lots of Drill, Personal Training, got a taste for barrack life and the routines of a soldier. They also climbed the high ropes confidence course, as well as river crossings.
The team did really well, and achieved their own goals. They eagerly look forward to next year’s induction course where they will be aiming to win trophies and other accolades.
